- When did you start playing? What got you into banding?: Started playing at the age of 8 when I was handed a trombone at Manor Park Junior School.
- Funniest or Most Embarrassing Banding Moment: Funniest and most embarrassing moments were both at the same time, playing in a Christmas concert dressed as a fairy, age 46! (no further elaboration required).
- Highlight of Banding Career: Playing in the National Finals with Rolls Royce (Coventry) Band in 1985.
- Other hobbies/interests: Going to the gym, and preventing my partner, Julie, from clothes shopping.
