- When did you start playing? What got you into banding?: Sweet 16. My friend Georgina dragged me to a rehearsal in the school holidays. Never looked back...
- Funniest or Most Embarrassing Banding Moment: I was in a rush to get on stage for an open adjudication contest and when I grabbed my cornet, I accidently picked up a cloth which was usually used to mop up valve oil. I just didn't think anything of it, until after the contest, when the remarks said 'is it really necessary for the 2nd cornet player to wear a yellow duster on her lap?'. I was mortified, and when we lost the contest by one point, I was convinced it was my fault. No one let me forget this and for weeks afterwards, people would flap a yellow duster in my face!
- Highlight of Banding Career: Nationals, 2000. Didn't think we'd ever get to play at the Albert Hall !

- Favourite tipple?: I've been known to have the occasional bacardi breezer or two (just to be sociable you realise!).
