- When did you start playing? What got you into banding?: Age 8 - my dad with a big stick.
- Funniest or Most Embarrassing Banding Moment: The funniest moment was when I was sharing a bedroom with Strap at Pontin's. Gordon Clay came out of his room with toilet roll in each ear to drown out the snoring. He also had PJ's on with GC on the pocket! My most embarrassing moment can't be published on a website!
- Highlight of Banding Career: Playing New Jerusalem at the Albert Hall with Banks', standing for the 3 cornet features.
- Other hobbies/interests: Avoiding DIY at home.
